  • Job Description

Every day, AWS customers all over the world estimate the costs of running their applications on AWS. AWS is a rich deep ecosystem and estimating costs is hard and requires in-depth knowledge of individual service pricing models. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to drive the definition of the new AWS Pricing Calculator, https://calculator.aws. This solution will replace the Simple Monthly Calculator. We are looking, because we frankly can use help in defining this large scope project.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with customers and AWS service teams to understand the requirements of an estimation solution. Then with these requirements, dream of what could be, and document how they are related and can be grouped. Simply put, you will own the roadmap and ensuring implementation meets the goals of the product. If you are looking for a position with a small mandate and limited visibility, this isn’t the position for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a highly visible role that helps almost every AWS customer, we’d love to hear from you.

    • Experience with successful, customer-facing experiences that are used and loved by customers
    • Ability to develop, track, course-correct, iterate a metrics-driven product roadmap
