Amazon’s Transaction Risk Management Systems (TRMS) team is responsible for protecting our customers across every Amazon product line. The Corporate Compliance team, a group within TRMS, strives to protect Amazon businesses from exposure to unlawful acts such as money laundering and conducting business with restricted persons while maintaining the highest level of customer experience for normal sellers and buyers to safely and seamlessly conduct their business.
This TRMS Finance Manager will be a key player in providing financial guidance to business leaders on how to best run the Compliance business. This role includes ownership of the core financial responsibilities of controllership, budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning, and analysis of financial results. The right individual will have exceptional Finance and Accounting skills, strong leadership skills and solid business judgment. He or she will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize.
