Our mission in Transaction Risk Management Services (TRMS) is to make Amazon.com the safest place to transact online, and we are seeking a Senior Program Manager to own the design, implementation and efficiency of our large scale, global, Operations processes.
A successful candidate will be a senior level individual that excels at working collaboratively with stakeholders, enjoys working through ambiguity, can operate at different levels of the organization as required, and is able to break complex needs into scalable Operations processes.
The Senior Program Manager – Risk Operations main responsibilities include: · Own end to end Operations implementation of new business programs and modification to existing programs that require TRMS support · Contribute to process and policy creation in collaboration with external business teams · Coordinate daily with internal and external stakeholders across the globe to identify, track, report, and resolve performance and incoming issues for existing Operations processes · Build and utilize process inspection mechanisms to manage Operations against productivity and cost targets · Scale existing processes through efficiency and yield analysis, Kaizens, tool and investigation demos · Work with internal teams, like QA, to understand process gaps, owning resolution against these plans · Represent overall program and performance to leadership teams as necessary · Manage small team of dedicated Operations Program Managers as necessary

Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, Operations or equivalent
7+ years of project/program management experience
5+ years of experience leading projects in a fast paced Operations environment
Proven Knowledge of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve Control) problem solving techniques
Proven process improvement and analytics skills application, including the ability to mine and analyze large, complex data sets
Demonstrated ability to motivate and focus people resources where there is no direct reporting relationship
MBA or Masters degree in related field
5 years of experience working in Operations, driving improvements that have resulted in measurable business impact
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Six sigma black belt level capabilities in deconstructing processes and metrics, to identify areas of opportunity and lead the development and implementation of new processes
