    Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Manager in the Prime FP&A team. Amazon Prime is the membership program that provides a premium customer experience on Amazon.com. This single threaded leader will be responsible to establish processes to determining the economic value created by the various benefits of Prime. This role will also be responsible to align senior leadership on the approach and communicating the results to inform our investment decisions for these benefits. Shipping, Video, Music, Reading are examples of benefits for Prime program.

    Some of his/her responsibilities include but not limited to:

    Understand and apply the results of econometric models to create, improve, and maintain attribution for various Prime benefits: shipping, Video, Music, Kindle, and E-books

    Build and manage models to report and forecast Economic value created by various Prime benefits

    Be comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to senior management

    We continuously invest in making the Prime program better and this role will help assess the returns on these investments in Prime program.


    Basic Qualifications

    · BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field and 10+ years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    · MBA Preferred
    · Excellent communication and persuasion skills
    · SQL (data mining and business intelligence)
    · Experience with Cognos, Oracle Financials or similar tools
    · Experience in developing financial reports/scalable processes
    · Advanced Excel skills & business modeling skills
    · Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable priorities
    · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation
    · Experience managing teams
