Marketplace is one of Amazon’s fastest growing business with more than 50% of all items currently sold originating from third-party Sellers.

    To do this, we provide third-party Developers with a comprehensive API suite with simple interfaces and self-service experiences to simplify and accelerate the development of applications that will help Sellers automate and grow their business on Amazon.
    In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers to define new products and you will be responsible for the design, implementation, launch and operations of complex new features and services at scale.

    Successful candidates will be experienced engineers who think big, are passionate about the customer experience and have a track record of delivering high quality software in a dynamic environment.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Self-starter with the drive and conviction to do things right the first time.
    • Proven track record of delivering reliable and scalable software solutions.
    • 5+ years of software development experience.
    • Proficiency in Java or C++.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience designing distributed systems.
    • Experience with AWS or other cloud computing platforms.
    • Advanced degree.
