QuickSight is a fast business analytics service to build visualizations, perform ad-hoc analysis, and quickly get business insights from data. The service was launched last year and picking up velocity. The service is geared to build disruptive technology in the big data analysis and visualization space.

    Basic Qualifications

    • BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field
    • 3+ years of professional experience in front end, web, or mobile software developing with HTML, CSS, JavaScript Framework, and general Web 2.0 techniques
    • Experience with responsive web design and the ability to deliver outstanding functionality across devices and platforms.
    • Strong design skills around the user experience
    • Eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.
    • Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience building large-scale web applications
    • Experience with development on the AWS platform
    • Familiarity with JS libraries like React, WebGL, SVG, Canvas API etc is a plus
