We're a company of pioneers. It's our job to make bold bets and we get our energy from inventing on behalf of customers. Success is measured against the possible, not the probable. For today’s pioneers, that’s exactly why there’s no place on Earth they’d rather build than Amazon.
Amazon’s Fulfillment Technologies is seeking a pioneer to help build a world class automated infrastructure for our fulfillment teams across the globe. Does providing creative, high impact solutions to complex technology problems motivate you? Amazon is looking for a Systems Development Engineer to use technical expertise for developing and automating solutions that enable our fulfillment centers to deliver millions of customer orders per day.

The Operations Technology team builds and continuously improves the core infrastructure components used by tens of thousands of Amazonians, hundreds of thousands of IP enabled devices, a growing fleet of robots, and countless other user devices in our facilities around the world. You'll be part of a world-class team in a fast-paced environment that has the entrepreneurial feel of a start-up. You will work directly with other systems, network and software engineers to help secure the technology that supports our Fulfillment Centers and Transportation sites. If you’re interested in a challenging position with a great company, the Systems Development Engineer position might be for you.

    Overview:
As a Systems Development Engineer, you will be a member of a team responsible for building and maintaining a complex, highly distributed global network and developing tools to enable our team to resolve issues efficiently. As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have deep hands on experience developing infrastructure automation in native AWS. You will have a broad understanding of cloud and information systems concepts including, but not limited to cloud infrastructure, network design and AWS.
