Job Description

Would you like to lead a Field Sales team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services for one of AWS’s most strategic customers based in the Philadelphia area? Do you have the business savvy, sales management, and the technical sales background necessary to enable customer success on AWS?

As a Sales leader, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a market leading company and strategic customer for AWS. Your responsibilities will include strategic relationship development, complex customer alignment, and solution selling to drive client outcomes. Your responsibilities will include building and managing a highly talented sales team focused on customer obsession.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer plan.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and objectives.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Expect moderate travel.
  • Position is based virtually within the Philadelphia, PA or immediate surrounding areas (candidate needs to have the ability to cover the Philadelphia, PA area on a daily basis)

Basic Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of direct technology related sales or business development experience. (Ideally in Infrastructure: Datacenter, Platform, PaaS, etc.).
  • 10+ years of sales management experience working for a technology vendor selling software or cloud solutions to Fortune 2000 accounts.
  • 10+ years of experience leading a team of sellers focusing on Fortune 2000 accounts.
  • 5+ years of experience successfully building and executing go-to market plans for Net New or whitespace Fortune 2000 accounts.
  • BA/BS degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
  • Extensive customer network.
  • Experience covering Strategic or Global accounts preferred.
