As the Senior Manager of Business Operations for AWS Support, you will be responsible for hiring and leading a team of data/research scientists, business intelligence engineers, analysts, forecasters and program managers. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading large, globally diverse teams that develop and automate metrics and KPIs, lead weekly business reviews, monthly goal reviews, forecasting, capacity planning and workforce management as well as lead organization-wide program management efforts.
This position requires a highly analytical, technical and solution-oriented candidate with a combination of deep business acumen, and knowledge of statistical best practices. The candidate must have the ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups to solve business problems and provide data solutions that are organized and simple to understand. Basic Qualifications

· A bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, or engineering is preferred. An advanced degree from a highly respected academic institution is strongly preferred
· 15+ years working in highly analytical and technical teams.
· 5+ years leading technical teams in the areas of analytics and/or operations research.
· Deep experience with data mining, data analytics, predictive modeling, and advanced modeling techniques.
· Demonstrated ability to improve customer experience and/or financial performance through practical application of data analytics.
· Extensive experience presenting findings to an executive audience.
