Job Description

CNCS is looking for a savvy business leader with an entrepreneurial spirit as the Mgr. Strategic Development. This leader will support CNCS director and CNCS Leadership team to define and execute the vision and strategies. Our business has high growth potential and consequently we are seeking an individual who Thinks Big and is comfortable operating across teams.
The role requires a candidate with strong business acumen that is an exceptional problem solver who is excited to roll-up their sleeves and master the details. Further, the successful candidate will be a data-driven, analytical person that is comfortable analyzing and acting upon relevant financial and business information to help identify opportunities and drive better performance. In true Amazon spirit this individual will be able to take multiple and varying thoughts and develop them into a final strategic plan. The business leader will thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and will have a track record of successful relationship building and management.

  • Support CNCS director and leadership team to lead the strategies, roadmap and deliverables for CNCS Business.
  • Scope and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with our long-term objectives while helping to ensure we are prioritizing the right initiatives.
  • Serve as a CNCS point of contact for designated initiatives and co-work with global team to coordinate our overall deliverable plans.
  • Key talent for preparing white papers outlining and clearly articulating key business opportunities and strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or relevant field of study;
  • Strong business development and project management skills with the ability to initiate and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and planning abilities to design and oversee programmatic business development efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and small team environment while balancing a high level strategic thinking with hands on tactical work.
  • Must be technically competent and have a strong understanding of e-commerce.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak effectively to any audience; Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • Fluency in English and Chinese Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working in Amazon and familiarity in key operational systems
  • 2+ years of experience leading others
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in operations, retail or e-commerce
