Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a growing team that is inventing the future and building an exciting new Amazon business. The AVS team is searching for a dedicated Program Manager to build programs and processes that scale. This role will partner with Business Development, Solution Architects, Marketing, Business Intelligence and other key internal stakeholders to establish processes, programs, and enablement materials that will help grow the business. The ideal candidate will be process oriented, enjoy creative problem solving, possess strong program/project management skills, excellent customer engagement and communication skills, and work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment.

Some of the key job functions of this position are:
  • Interact with internal stakeholders globally to understand business needs, prioritize program objectives and deliverables, and plan accordingly.
  • Directly impact the development and launch of processes and programs
  • Identify process improvements and/or automation and work towards a lean environment
  • Develop materials to enable internal and external customers to work quickly and efficiently ultimately improving the partner experience
  • Develop a strategy and best practices to help partners run betas for their products

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in program and/or project management in a fast-moving environment
  • 5+ years experience managing stakeholders, expectations, and due dates and balancing these expectations against company needs
  • Experience in managing programs/processes in high-volume environments
  • Experience developing and delivering on project milestones
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders across multiple business units and senior management including international offices
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong sense of ownership and a self-starter that has track record of delivering results
  • Ability to build relationships and influence decision making
  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude and problem solving abilities
  • Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
  • Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groups
  • Committed work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and take ownership of multiple tasks to achieve goals
  • Successful history of global and cross-group collaboration, teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and example
  • Tenacity to keep issues top of mind of relevant stakeholders and conviction to make the right decisions
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new business demands and a strong sense of urgency
