AWS Sales is seeking a seasoned global sales strategy manager to work with the Global Specialized Sales Organization. The creation of this role is based on direct feedback highlighting the need to establish a long term and sustainable strategy for the incubation, growth, and integration of new services into the broader AWS eco-system. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record and deep experience in the development of got to market strategies, sales organizational best practices, the ability to facilitate collaboration between various sellers including Enterprise, Global, Specialized and Partner organizations, develop capabilities and strategies that meet the needs of specific Geos (Americas, EMEA, APAC, Japan), and influence at the executive level across multiple stakeholders including product teams, marketing teams, and the global sales organization.
The successful candidate must be able to roll-up his/her sleeves, and dive deep on the data to help drive critical decisions and provide thoughtful insight into the business and viable alternative for success. He/she will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. He/she will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for their customers to other internal parties. Active collaboration with leadership in Sales Operations, AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, and Product/Service Teams will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities associated with this role. He/she will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
