Amazon is growing its Marketplace business in China aggressively. In this context, we are seeking an ambitious, experienced customer-oriented and open-minded Senior Site Merchandiser with great communication skills and marketing savvy to help us build an authoritative shopping destination for Seller products. Our mission is to create a best-in-class store where customers will discover, research and buy fashion and high-quality products from 3rd party merchant. The position is based in Beijing, China.
The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for 3P merchandising related initiatives, acting as a point of contact for marketing and content related issues. The area of responsibilities for this role including:
§ Cooperate with central marketing team on merchandising resource allocation and planning
§ Invent, manage and execute 3P merchandising program/campaign to improve discoverability and conversion
§ Shared goal with Sales and Account management team on Seller success
§ Work with cross-functional teams on campaign calendar and execution planning
§ Partner with Ads team, continue invent and optimize Ads package to drive 3P Ads revenue
§ Continue optimize CSLD program to drive customer experience improvement and maximize output in terms of GMS and Ads revenue
§ Build up metric and conduct data-driven analysis to monitor and deep dive campaign results, continue efforts to optimize campaign effectiveness.
§ Drive merchandising process optimization and automation to improve productivity
The successful Site Merchandiser must be able to:
§ Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor the underlying technological development.
§ Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to continue optimize the merchandising program that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.
§ Co-manage strategic Seller relationships, design customized campaign to drive Seller engagement and help Seller success.
§ Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external stake holders, while meeting tight deadlines.
