The Global Business Operations organization at AWS (Amazon Web Services) develops and operates complex systems (includes business intelligence/reporting, compensation,Territory Planning and Customer Relationship Management) that leverages AWS technologies to deploy high-quality solutions into our cloud based architecture.
We are looking for a senior technical leader to manage high-impact software programs that will shape the user experience of Sales, Marketing and Support users to make business critical decisions. This leader will lead a team of technologists to succeed in a fast-paced environment while taking on unique challenges that will have a highly visible impact on our growing business.
As the “Single-Threaded-Owner” aligned to a specific line of business, the candidate will be responsible for leading a systems team that will work very closely with the business teams to: 1) collect business and system requirements, 2) write specifications, 3) manage budgets, 4) establish and drive project plans from design to release, and manage production launches.
You will be a catalyst for effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple geographically separated groups delivering jointly on highly-visible mission-critical systems. You will contribute to our success with your hands-on project management skills, deep technical expertise, good understanding of business, and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities
-Responsible for the end-to-end technical ownership of large programs including technical architecture, roadmap creation and planning, risk and issue management, trade-offs and execution.
-Effectively partner with customers, technical staff and business leaders and executives in different geographical locations to capture business priorities define and deliver complex capabilities.
-Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
-Ability to make sense of ambiguity, define and plan programs in a fast paced and highly-technical organization, and secure buy in from internal and external stakeholders.
-Continually improve ongoing reporting and analytical processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets
