Job Description

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to support Twitch Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). This role will be responsible for managing financial rhythms of the business, including the annual operating plan, forecast process and providing analytical support to senior management. This position will be responsible for providing reporting and business support for data-driven decision making.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and be able to create and maintain efficient, automated processes for tracking and reporting financial metrics that are timely, accurate, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently and act as the primary point of contact from finance, while helping develop solutions for Twitch’s growth and expansion
  • Responsibility for delivery of complex cross functional projects
  • Coordinate with the Amazon Finance and Twitch Finance teams to establish and maintain strong communication channels
  • Create financial narratives and documents to support key deliverables, including backup detail into assumptions
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis effort and forecast various metrics for financial risks and opportunities
  • Partner with the Twitch finance teams to standardize, streamline, and prioritize projects to increase reliability and efficiency of deliverables
  • Own the consolidation and reporting of the global P&Ls for the Twitch business
  • Be a subject matter expert of the Cognos financial reporting /planning tools; partner with Corporate Finance to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant finance experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience establishing processes and coordinating multiple teams to facilitate timely and accurate deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience establishing processes and coordinating multiple teams to facilitate timely and accurate deliverables
  • Familiarity with financial reporting software (Cognos/Oracle)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with SQL or ETL preferred, but not required
