Job Description

Amazon Studios Original Movies is seeking an experienced Media Manager as part of the theatrical marketing and distribution team. This role will focus on managing the day to day operations of our media planning, buying and optimization efforts across multiple mediums including (but not limited to) television, print, digital and out-of-home. The position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and you will be responsible for building media plans and managing of our media agencies and other partners in order to achieve our marketing and media objectives for theatrical launches, brand campaigns and other relevant marketing initiatives. You will work to maintain and develop our media best practices, creating rigorous analytical processes and striving for cost-effective advertising.

· Manage holistic paid media strategies and planning for individual titles and marketing campaigns
· Day to day management for Amazon’s media agencies
· Work with agencies to deliver impactful and cost-effective media plans
· Monitor and analyze key media buy metrics (CPP, CPM, CPC, etc.), quality, and campaign performance
· Establish post-buy audit and optimization efforts to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the media plans
· Interface directly with networks, affiliates and MSO’s to develop new advertising programs and secure premium media
· Monitor, analyzing and reporting competitive media and marketing strategies
· Manage and deliver on the advertising portfolio strategy and investment models
· Oversee budgets and timelines for media programs
· Prepare monthly budget forecasts for media spends

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years relevant professional experience in media planning, media buying, and/or advertising production management
· In-depth understanding of media principles, planning and buying functions
· Established theatrical entertainment industry knowledge and contacts
· Strong knowledge of media research, trafficking, tracking and reporting processes, techniques and technologies
· Ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment
· Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision


Preferred Qualifications

· Major media agency and / or theatrical marketing experience highly desirable
