Job Description

Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects within AmazonFresh. The roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities include:
· Partnering with other teams to source, allocate and coordinate resources
· Managing and delivering results on complex projects across multiple organizations
· Gathering and analyzing data
· Creating, communicating and managing budget for projects
· Innovating to improve processes and continuously removing cost from operations
A successful candidate will also demonstrate:
· High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
· Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
· Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
· Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
· Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business, Operations, etc.) or 2+ years' Amazon experience
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
  • Work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/MS and work experience in dedicated project management highly desired
  • Prior experience or use of PMP/Lean
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Visual Basic programming language and Excel query and script creation are a plus
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently
