We are looking for an experienced leader who can own a critical business for AWS. Batch Computing and HPC are areas where cloud computing is starting to see wide adoption across a number of segments ranging from financial services to aerospace to animation. The General Manager (GM) of AWS Batch Computing and HPC will own product and engineering for a broad set of capabilities in job management, scheduling, and performance optimization that aim to make it easy for developers, researchers, and engineers to run high performance applications on AWS.
As the GM you will you will manage the roadmap for future product development in the batch and HPC space, including new services, new features for existing services, operational improvements, and global expansion. In this role, you will have a chance to interact with large AWS customers and prospects, including leading edge enterprises and high growth startups, and use their feedback to drive innovation. Your team will include product management, development, and operations for this set of services. You will be responsible for growing the team, identifying partnership and acquisition opportunities, and building a customer centric, high performance culture within your organization. You’ll help set – and will be expected to deliver on – aggressive goals for customer adoption, operational performance, and feature delivery.
You will part of the larger technical and product leadership community at Amazon. This community forms the backbone of the company, plays a critical role in broad business planning, working closely with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements, influences our long-term technical and business strategy, helps us hire talented team of engineers and ultimately enables us to deliver innovative new solutions rapidly.
