Job Description

Amazon Lumberyard Marketing is looking for an experienced, innovative, and customer-obsessed Sr. Marketing Research Manager who will design, execute and deliver primary research to Lumberyard product and marketing teams.

Amazon is all in on games. We believe the evolution that began with arcade communities a quarter at a time, growing to the live streams and esports of today, will continue to a future where games are a global cultural touchstone that cuts across age, gender and nationality. Amazon provides game developers with Amazon Lumberyard, a free AAA game engine deeply integrated with AWS and Twitch.

We are looking for a candidate that brings enthusiasm for gaming, a passion for game developers/publishers, and who raises the bar on how we approach earning and keeping the trust of game developers around the world. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding project management skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with strong attention to detail, capable of diving deep and working on every aspect of the project and the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. He/She recognizes that the true measure of a project’s success is based on the business impact of the findings and will take a consultative approach to help internal customers achieve their goals. The keys to success in this role include exceptional study design, analytics, and communication skills. The candidate will need to be able to extract insights from data and be able to clearly communicate implications and recommendations. You will conceive, propose, and sell new ideas, strategies, and concepts—and help the team guide those projects to completion.
