The Amazon Family team is seeking a passionate, customer-obsessed Product Manager to help solve complex problems and create innovative customer experiences. Amazon Family is a customer program aimed at helping parents and caregivers use Amazon to find all the products their family needs. Your work will directly impact how we evolve and grow a key global initiative. The successful Amazon Family Product Manager candidate will be passionate about engaging moms and dads around the practical aspects of managing life as parents. She or he will have an understanding of current trends, parenting topics, and will be passionate about creating a compelling customer experience that connects with parents across channels. They will be responsible for conceiving, scoping and delivering program features and benefits from end-to-end. Responsibilities include collection of business requirements from internal and external customers, analyzing customer behavior, managing project milestones, and working with engineers and designers through the entire process to release.
The right candidate will possess a strong customer experience/business/product management background combined with solid understanding of current technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and will not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
