  • Job Description

    Amazon is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to work on state of the art technology in a fast paced, R&D environment. This person must be comfortable working in cross functional teams, have the ability to think on their feet, and deliver simple solutions to complex problems. This role is for a jack-of-all-trades electrical engineer who can create power systems, write firmware, design analog and digital circuits, layout PCBs, debug circuits.

    *Located in Metro-West Area

    Basic Qualifications

    · Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of relevant work experience
    · Strong Mathematical/Statistical/Physics fundamentals
    · Experience architecting, designing, and implementing, analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design
    · Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
    · Experience in communicating with end users, business teams and management to collect requirements, describe product features and refine technical designs
    · Proficient with industry standard PCB design tools
    · Proficiency in firmware development/programming languages
    · Experience managing vendors locally and abroad; driving fast development cycles
    · Experience as a technical lead designing hardware systems/products
    · Problem solver, “can do”, ”get any task done” attitude

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Master's of Science or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
    · Excellent end-to-end system debug skills; ability to operate a broad range of electronic test equipment
    · Experience working/partnering with mechanical engineers and/or delivering simple mechanical prototype solutions
