Our team is part of the AWS Infrastructure group that owns all the System, Network and Application infrastructure globally for Amazon Corporate and AWS. We build complex multi-platform solutions that help our customers get more done whilst improving their user experience, hence our name: Customer Experience Improvement and Innovation (CXI2). We are in search of an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will be responsible for driving the design and execution of solutions to improve the computing experience of all Amazonians. You will drive IT projects across a variety of technologies and disciplines including the use of cloud computing technologies. Your passion for hands on work, problem solving, team work, and mentorship will enable you to flourish as a leader and owner at Amazon. This exciting and high impact role will involve working with a wide range of other technical and business groups within Amazon.
In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering complex solutions, collecting product and business requirements, driving the development schedule from design to release, making appropriate tradeoffs to manage risk, and clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and client project teams. The position requires working closely with software development teams and internal business customers.
Additionally, this TPM will be responsible for managing a number of programs involving multiple department and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include large-scale projects and initiatives that extend and enhance the experience for every Amazonian.
