We are looking for a dynamic, organized and self-starter product manager to join as the Principal Product Manager for Amazon Global Selection.

This person will create and manage innovative international business solutions and must be customer-obsessed with strong self-motivation and project/product management skills. This person will also be responsible to lead current exports selection initiatives and will be tasked to build a team to define, own, and drive key KPI’s to improve the customer experience. The ideal candidate has a broad skill set including analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, strategic conceptualization skills, strong negotiations skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers. You will work with business teams of all sizes and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon Global & Expansion at all levels.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be:
  • Build a scalable strategy for launching exports selection for new destinations
  • Launch selection through different platforms and programs
  • Hire and manage a team to own the customer experience in our strategic destinations and deliver strategic KPI’s
  • Own a product roadmap for export eligibility platform
  • Own relationship with vendor managers to unlock high value brands and top sellers for exports
  • Conceptualize and deliver comprehensive bench-marking analysis to better understand opportunities and gaps across the strategic countries

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of team management experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation skills
Track record of hiring & developing high-performing teams
Demonstrated success leading project delivery for large, cross functional programs
Strong organizational planning and development skills
Demonstrated success growing a business, market planning/analysis, and opportunity identification
Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements
Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in business, engineering or a related field
Experience with Localization/Internationalization, tailoring customer experiences to specific and local customer needs
Experience and track record of delivering features and products at scale
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
Experience shipping new products and leading the definition and implementation of a product roadmap for a consumer service or product
Experience with conducting and commissioning customer research
