We are looking for a dynamic, organized and self-starter product manager to join as the Sr. Product Manager for Cross-border Selection team.

This person will create and manage innovative international business solutions and must be customer-obsessed with strong self-motivation and project/product management skills. This person will also be responsible to lead current retail, global store and exports selection initiatives, and products and will be tasked to drive selection up by partnering with Global Retail teams. The ideal candidate has a broad skill set including analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, strategic conceptualization skills, strong negotiations skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers. You will work with business teams of all sizes and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon Global & Expansion at all levels.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be:
  • Lead and manage selection enablement products end to end by building long term product vision, and scalable strategy, and owning a product roadmap
  • Work with cross global expansion teams, including but not limited to global store, exports, retail expansion, global selling, global listing to develop a unified selection enablement product
  • Interact and drive top down adoption by working with leadership (VPs, Directors) of global expansion
  • Work closely with business teams and customers to measure and track the impact and adapt the product strategy accordingly

Basic Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years product management experience in technology or retail focused business, ideally with a focus on international business
Experience working cross-functionally with a wide breadth of stakeholders, users, engineers, and business leaders to generate buy-in for the product direction you are setting
Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation skills
Experience in developing, delivering and executing on a strong product vision
Demonstrated success leading project/product delivery for large, cross functional programs
Experience working with engineering teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements
Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in business, engineering or a related field
Experience and track record of delivering features and products at scale
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
Experience shipping new products and leading the definition and implementation of a product roadmap for a consumer service or product
Quantitative background with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
