As the Technical Business Development Manager for New Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the adoption and grow the future of new and upcoming AWS services. In this role, you will have the responsibility of ensuring the success of our initial customers for our newest services. You will help our customers understand the value of our new and forthcoming services and how to apply the benefits of these services to meet their business goals.
In addition to driving customer satisfaction, revenue growth and adoption of emerging technologies, you will be responsible for identifying customers who are good candidates to use our new and beta services. You will use your up-to-date technical skills in scripting, coding, infrastructure and databases to work closely with our customers “hands on” to create demos and sample solutions for our newest services. You will help scale this program by working closely with, and organizing the efforts of cross functional groups including Solution Architects, Professional Services Consultants, Technical Account Managers and Partners to ensure success and speedy adoption of our new services with the appropriate customers.
The ideal candidate will possess customer focused business acumen along with current technical skills that enabling them to drive customer engagements leading to the adoption of new AWS services. They will also have the technical depth and business experience to easily communicate the benefits of cloud computing to customers with differing levels of technical and business knowledge. Background in business operations, data analysis and ability to create scalable programs is a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Serves as Technical Business Development Manager driving customer satisfaction and adoption of new AWS services
· Engages with all sizes of customers (from startups, mid-market, to enterprises)
· Proven record of listing to customers and creating solutions that achieve their business goals
· Establish ways to measure and track metrics related to adoption of new services and make improvements to our approach based on those measurements
· Educate and enable customers and internal sales teams about new services
· Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market.
