Job Description

We are looking for an experienced finance leader to support our international finance and business teams. This is an opportunity to be part of Amazon’s international growth story around the world, driving new initiatives while addressing the unique challenges of doing business in different countries.
This position works closely with business leaders, the Director of International Consumer Finance and Finance Directors around the world with aspects of the strategic planning, operational execution and financial controllership.
This finance leader will be the primary contact for International Expansion opportunities and serve as liaison between local countries and Seattle teams. He/she will be a finance partner that supports in country finance teams with key deliverables including operational planning, goals, weekly metrics, bridges, and forecast updates.
This leader will also manage other ad hoc tasks and projects for International Consumer business. He/she will also work with other country finance managers to ensure best practices are applied both from and to other geographies.

Basic Qualifications

- BA/BS required
- 8 plus years in finance roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA preferred
- Advanced analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills required
- MS in Finance or other quantitative areas preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
- Strong ability to take initiative and self-start when necessary
- Former experience in Retail or Operations industry
- Finance manager +
