Job Description

Amazon’s Leave of Absence and Accommodations (LOAA) Team is seeking a Senior Manager of Quality & Self Inspection to grow a team of quality & escalation specialists, including vendor management, to implement and support a quality and self-inspection program across various leave of absence events. The successful candidate in this leadership role is passionate about building a great organization that is obsessed with high quality and continuous quality improvement, relentlessly committed to creating world-class services, and is able to develop a team in a high growth environment.
The Quality & Self Inspection Senior Manager will start a new team focused on measuring the quality of the leave process, identifying through data opportunities for continuous process improvements, facilitating growth of programs on behalf of our employees. In particular the Quality & Self Inspection Senior Manager will possess strong people skills, be proactive, an excellent communicator, resourceful and focus on execution of deliverables. The program includes handling escalations stemming from Leave & Disability & Accommodations service failures throughout the Amazon network, working primarily with other HRBPs, HR Client Service Representatives and Benefits as well as other functions such as Legal, Payroll, Worker’s Compensation and Safety. The position will focus on self-inspection through metrics and audit mechanisms. Key elements of the position include program development, working with the Develop & Delivery teams on evolution of new and existing processes, vendor management, as well as coordinating with the Compliance function to understand impacts. This role will play a key part in evolving the LOAA strategy and vision, while managing growth and opportunities for the team on behalf of our customers. Lastly the successful candidate will possess a great attention to detail and strong standard process ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
· Developing of the Leave & Disability & Accommodations Quality & Self Inspection program
· Coordinating with Leave of absence vendors to measure and inspect vendor programs
· Vendor management
· Developing and monitoring of key leave of absence business metrics
· Developing test strategies
· Writing test plans and communicating results cross functionally
· Working with Develop & Delivery teams to understand product vision and requirements
· Defining measurable metrics to gauge progress against objective quality goals
· Hiring and developing quality and escalations staff

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR or a related field
· At least twelve years of audit and/or quality program experience
· At least five years of development and/or test management experience with a proven track record in building effective teams and experience hiring and retaining staff
· Hands-on experience with test planning, test execution and designing, implementing and maintaining high quality programs
· Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in an agile development environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Solid track record for delivery of high quality products

Preferred Qualifications

· Advanced degree in Finance, HR or a related field
· Experience with leave of absence or disability quality assurance
