Job Description

The AWS Partner Network (APN) Product Team is focused on building great user experiences around how our partners and customers engage with AWS. We build platforms that allow AWS customers to search and discover the right partners to work with, based on their business needs, by leveraging data and technology. We also build platforms that enable our partners to engage with AWS more efficiently and grow their cloud business. We own all of APN’s technology platforms and work closely with our customers to improve our current platforms and build new platforms that will make our customers more successful. This team has been recently formed and we’re looking for passionate individuals who love to innovate and create world class experiences that will change customers’ lives.

The right candidate will possess a strong Product Management background, and will have experience launching multiple customer-facing products and features. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, a customer-centric mindset, negotiation skills, ability to influence and analytical talent are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Talk to customers, define and prioritize product features and functions.
  • Drive operational and technical solution development to support implementation of desired features and functions.
  • Develop business requirements and user stories to provide design and development direction to UX and Dev teams; collaborate with UX and Dev to iterate and refine designs; QA final products prior to launch.
  • Define, measure and manage customer experience and business performance metrics; root-cause performance issues, define solutions to address them, and implement with speed.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product management, owning and driving end-to-end product requirements across multiple technology teams.
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering innovative experiences to customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
  • Able to prioritize complex deliverables, have highly technical discussions, deliver results in a fast-paced, ambiguous, environment and run large meetings with technical and business leaders.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and support business cases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Salesforce and Adobe CQ.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Excel.
  • Master or an advanced degree.
  • Experience interacting and presenting to senior executives.
