Job Description

Lifecycle Marketing Manager:
Amazon Kindle is changing the way people consume digital media and continues to be one of the most innovative and fastest growing businesses at Amazon. The Kindle Content team manages all facets of Kindle eBooks marketing, including search, onboarding, site merchandising, pricing and customer base marketing. As Senior Marketing Manager for Kindle Lifecycle, you will build and manage a portfolio of marketing programs, special offers, and site features to enhance the experience for Kindle readers, driving activation and retention.

Core Job Responsibilities:
• Customer-first orientation that drives development of program objectives, contact strategy, communication channels and content that enhances customers’ reading experience
• Align key executive sponsors throughout organization on program objectives
• Justify investment in new programs and features with data driven business cases
• Partner with customer insight and analytics teams to develop program features and benefits that align with customer values and reward customer engagement
• Develop robust test and learn strategies that guide optimization of programs over multiple years
• Drive implementation of new technical capabilities by working with a broad cross-section of internal engineering, financial, product management, customer experience, and operations teams
• Actively monitor and manage the portfolio of programs to ensure they deliver on business goals
• Explain program trends and results to senior management
• Work with CRM systems to have the right discussions at the right time with customers

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a lifecycle marketing environment
• Ability to create the best offer/message for each target audience
• Hands on experience with campaign management / CRM tools
• Proven project management experience, including work prioritization and planning
• Strong writing, analytical and presentation skills
