Job Description

Amazon has a diverse set of global businesses. The Technology Center of Excellence in the Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance (ERMC) team provides technology products and solutions to help these businesses address the compliance requirements.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will play a leading role in building these technical products - you will work closely with Amazon businesses to meet legal audit and compliance requirements for areas like risk mitigation, fraud, screening, and controls. You will have a relentless focus on the customers and dive deep into the challenges they face. You will have the responsibility through the full product lifecycle, including setting product strategies, defining roadmaps, creating features, executing projects, directing the launch, and driving the adoption of products. You'll also leverage machine learning and data analytics in building these products.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in software development, data science, technical program or product management, in a related business
- 2+ years in Product Management
- Ability to dive deep into technical concepts and architecture as well as communicate technical information effectively to less technical audiences
- Previous experience working in a web services, cloud, and user interface design environment

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA, MS, or advanced degree in a related field
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a track record of delivering results
- Proficient in programming and scripting languages for data science and analysis including SQL
- Lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal
- Handle competing priorities in a fast-paced and demanding environment
