Job Description

We're looking for an entrepreneurial Product Marketing Manager who will define and execute all aspects of our advertiser engagement and communications strategies for a fast-growing video ad product. Our advertising enables customers to discover new products they love while empowering brands to find new customers and grow revenues.

Responsibilities:
  • Scale our end-to-end video advertising products for brands, advertisers, and agencies
  • Surface qualitative and quantitative insights as the voice of the advertisers to shape product direction and ensure product-market fit
  • Execute our go-to-market strategy for new ad video products and features
  • Collaborate with and leverage our PR, sales, and analytics teams to create product positioning collateral including keynotes, white papers, and case studies
  • Invent, write, refine and scale our messaging across marketing and training content
  • Build communications plans across direct-to-advertiser channels including email, webinars, events, and in-product messaging
  • Communicate the rollout of new products and features
Your contributions will be highly visible and instrumental in hitting ambitious goals for advertiser adoption of our new products. A diverse group of stakeholders will rely on your messaging, including advertisers, agencies, our ad sales and operations teams, and various partners.

About you:
  • You have a multi-disciplinary background—including business strategy, product marketing and analytical skills
  • You excel in distilling complex thoughts, succinctly, adapting to the medium of communication
  • You are always looking for opportunities to test new ideas and balance novel thinking with research into what already exists
  • You're not intimidated by being a one-person wrecking crew, defining marketing strategies, writing content and executing campaigns
  • You've got a proven track record of earning the trust of advertisers and sales team, members upon whom you rely to achieve your goals
  • You understand that it's still Day 1 at Amazon and you are excited about launching an engaging and challenging career with us
An ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in scaling B2B marketing or technology platforms, a bias for relying on data to guide positioning and the ability to succinctly identify and message what makes our video ad products unique.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B product marketing or product management experience
  • Experience setting strategic direction and executing go-to-market plans
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced quantitative/technical degree
  • Experience working in or deep knowledge of the online advertising industry
