Job Description

We are focused on building solutions that enables business customers to find, research, and buy products and services from a vast selection, across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions (and everything in between). Our business customers have different needs than the traditional Amazon retail customers, and we are reinventing everything from how we display our selection, price our products, and provide the right customer experience.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about:
  • Create a analytics insight center of excellence in a high growth business
  • Engage with right stakeholders in our sales and professional services teams to define and execute strategies to support the required data infrastructure with a focus on the appropriate business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the big data team, technology teams and sales operations to build a strategic technical plan to meet data and infrastructure requirements.
  • Collaboration with internal teams across both Amazon Business (big data, technology, sales) and Amazon (AWS, Infosec) to successfully partner and deliver against business-critical organizational initiatives.
  • Creates and organizes policy, practices and governance programs to scale for growth
  • Lead people to achieve both corporate and personal goals with a focus on growth, mentoring, coaching and retention.
  • Manages the various projects focusing on continued system integrations, improved data management, and enhancements to our internal customer experience

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years in project management in a technology organization
  • A track record of successfully delivering results, starting up new services, and delivering projects on-time and within budget
  • Outstanding attention to detail; Exceptional problem solving & analytical skills
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to influence people and gain results outside of a direct reporting line
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within a global team
  • Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Experience with Master Data Management implementations
  • Experience in sales operations/support department.
