Job Description

Kindle is the best-selling product in the history of Amazon.com and the Kindle business is one of the most innovative and fastest growing businesses at Amazon. This critical role will continue to build on that success by driving demand initiatives, deals, and promotions, for the Kindle Content business.

We are looking for someone who is deeply customer-focused and constantly seeking opportunities to enhance customer value. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who is flexible, detail-oriented, thrives in ambiguity, and can drive results across cross-functional groups.

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Balancing strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution of Kindle Content promotions and demand generation initiatives
  • Collaborating with global stakeholders at multiple levels including vendor managers, merchandisers, and pricing analysts
  • Partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
  • Defining, monitoring and responding to program’s success metrics
  • Analyzing data to make intelligent decisions on optimizing and improving performance over time

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years in program, product, and/or project management
  • Strong analytical ability, verbal and written communication, and problem solving skills
  • Experience leading and influencing successful cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Experience with SQL/MySQL
  • Strong analytical ability, verbal and written communication, and problem solving skills
  • Experience leading and influencing successful cross-functional teams
