You will be encouraged to exercise your judgment in proactively determining and recommending the best features, designs, and support models based on business objectives, timelines, and resource constraints.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Strong coding skills, with experience designing and writing web services
    • Proficiency in Python, Ruby or another high level language.
    • A minimum of 5 years of software development
    • Experience building, leading and mentoring high-performance engineering teams
    • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with distributed systems
    • Experience with Linux networking stack and TCP/IP protocols
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
