Quality Assurance Testers (QATs) work on testing cutting edge applications and products at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. QATs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of executing test cases from start to finish with minimal help. The QAT would be responsible for understanding the product in detail, and updating the test case tool with test execution results.

  • At least 3 years of testing experience
  • Experience with various QA methodology and tools
  • Experience creating and executing test cases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and team player.
  • Attention to detail and ability to root cause important issues impacting the process or customers.
  • Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
  • Strong ability to organize and track multiple test executions simultaneously, and ability to synthesize test results.
  • Mobile and/or IoT (Internet of Things) industry experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; the ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering the quality bar.
  • Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in delivering world-class customer experience (ideally in the digital content industry).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making, and comfort with pro-forma financial and operational analyses.
