Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused, and results-oriented Senior Program Manager to drive delivery of large, complex projects and strategic initiatives with our global marketpalces, who can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

The program focuses on owning the Machine Learning Fact Extraction Program within Amazon Selection & Catalog Systems (ASCS). The PM will manage the roadmap for the marketplace within Fact Extraction, which will include contributing to financial planning narratives, and includes ownership of one or more organization goals. As a large program owner, this role is accountable for the overall program strategy as well as driving teams inside and outside of the organization to deliver.


The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to assess complex projects and programs and break them down into manageable pieces, while communicating with and mentoring teams to allow them to deliver results in a successful and timely manner

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree – or relatable experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Program Management
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential: clear, organized, concise with an ability to adapt to appropriate audience in a business setting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and analytical thinking skills are critical to success within this position
  • Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Capacity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations or problems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
  • Fluency and comfort with business applications such as Word, Excel and Project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a team or program in an in E-Commerce on Tech environment
  • A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Support and engagement experience with international technology and business teams
  • Support and operation experience in a 24/7/365 e-commerce environment
