On the Alexa Music Team, you will have an enormous opportunity to impact the customer experience, design, architecture, and implementation of cutting edge products that will be used every day by people you know.
As a Product Manager, you will own all aspects of your product, from strategy to operational excellence. You will frequently work directly with your customers and partners to understand their needs from both a business and technical perspective. You will define and drive the product roadmap that will help us scale the business. You will represent your product to customers and executive leadership, and serve as the overall business owner of the product. Ownership extends from product to operations, and in this role you will roll up your sleeves and work directly with engineering, operations and support teams to help build, maintain, and optimize the features and services that you define. You will create and track metrics to define the success of your services. You will develop messaging, marketing and sales guidance to help reach new customers and scale your product. You will play a key role in planning out our global expansion strategy, from a product perspective.
The successful candidate will be a tenacious, ambitious, self-starter with a passion for the cloud who can serve as a strong advocate for our customers. You will have prior product management experience and a thorough understand of operations and its supporting services and tools. You will also have proven analytical capabilities, strong writing skills, web development experience, and the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. You are very delivery-focused, balanced with being a big-picture evangelist. You are a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company, and with the customer.

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years experience as product manager for software, web applications or internet sites.
· MBA or work equivalent
· Working knowledge of Project/Program Management principles
· Excellent quantitative skills: marked by experience in collecting, compiling and analyzing relevant data, and complimented with strong SQL and Excel expertise to access and transform data into insights
· 2+ years experience translating customer needs into user stories, developing cost and pricing models, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
· 2+ years experience prioritizing a large backlog of requirements, and developing roadmaps that delivers customers’ most valued features first
· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams, executive management, partners and customers
· High attention to detail and proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment
· Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire team

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Operations experience in customer service, help desk, or other tech support functions
· Knowledge of Pragmatic Marketing, AIPMM, and Sequent product management paradigms
· Experience with AWS or Cloud services beyond compute and storage
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
