Amazon Kindle is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager who is responsible for supporting the Kindle Content Acquisition team to launch new global internal and external facing products and business models. The ideal candidate can work successfully in a fast paced environment, has solid business judgment and a strong technical background, experience partnering business and technical teams, and success with launching new business models, initiatives and products. This person uses metrics and analysis to guide decision-making, is able to dive deep into data and can think creatively about new opportunities.

10 years of relevant business experience required
Bachelor’s degree required
Proven analytical thinking, leadership, problem solving, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
Demonstrated success in creation and execution of new products
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level executives
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience working in digital content or product management roles
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with the consumer internet industry in a professional context
Consulting, finance, banking or prior experience in a problem solving or analytical role preferred
Knowledge of or experience in publishing or other media industries a plus
Knowledge of SQL a plus
Proven skills at cultivating strong working relationships and driving collaboration across multiple business and technical teams
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
High comfort level with new and changing business models
High comfort level in an entrepreneurial environment
Ability to analyze and react to competitive market trends
