Part of the Global Consumer Engagement team within AV, our team builds product and technology solutions that drive activation and engagement of Prime Video customers across all our supported devices and growing global footprint. We obsess over finding effective, programmatic and scalable ways to reach customers via a broad portfolio of both in-app and out-of-app experiences, including push notifications, email, automatic ad placements, as well as a dedicated video-roll advertising channel. We increase our effectiveness by investing in leading edge machine learning techniques that learn about our customers' needs and match them with timely, relevant and personalized content recommendations. We seek visionary PMs to help define and own the roadmap and customer experiences that drive engagement with all the great content available on Amazon Video and ultimately increase brand loyalty.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will define and own the roadmap and customer experiences that drive engagement with all the great content available on Amazon Video and ultimately increase brand loyalty. This role is inherently cross-functional and global. You will work closely with our rocking engineering team as well as project management, design, operations, marketing, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and ultimately enhance our customers' experience with Amazon Video. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, resourceful, creative, big thinker, customer-focused, and a team player who has the maturity and ability to both lead and work independently. This person will also have a consistent track record of taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of software product management, and/or business development experience, preferably in a fast-paced online environment.
  • Experience in defining, driving, and shipping mass market consumer software or services, with a focus on the back-end technologies.
  • Passion for understanding customers and their behavior, particularly with regard to the digital video space.
  • Excellent cross-functional project management skills, written and verbal communication skills, and quantitative data analysis and critical-thinking skills.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • A passion for digital video/media and the entertainment industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Coding/development/system architecture experience.
  • Experience with ad tech/digital advertising/monetization a plus.
