Job Description

Amazon Last Mile Technology and Amazon Flex (flex.amazon.com) are the creations and solutions that enable third-party delivery partners to complete all of Amazon Prime Now delivery orders. Our Amazon Flex application works in concert with our advanced logistics systems and technology. These technologies allow delivery partners to onboard, schedule delivery times in advance or on demand, and be guided through their deliveries with in-app mapping, navigation, and more. Our ability to engage with, support and provide a world-class experience to both customers and our delivery providers has become more critical as we continue to expand the number of active delivery providers.
Our team is responsible for reviewing new Amazon Flex sites and then making them a reality. You will manage a team of engineers who combat and resolve solutions.
As the Software Development Manager, you will partner with technical program managers and senior business leaders to deliver products and solutions for the Amazon Flex function. You will review code from some of the top engineers in the world and ensure milestones are met. This is a highly visible team; the work you and your team will do is all Engineering and not maintaining.
