The Enterprise Applications portfolio is an interesting blend of services at different stages: some are established and scaling, while others are still nascent, with very high growth potential.
We are looking for an individual who can roll up their sleeves and help take our financial support of these services to the next level.
This position will work closely with finance management as well as key business partners across the AWS organization, including Product Managers, Engineers, sales and business development.
He/she will support business plans for Enterprise Applications, develop financial models for both short and long term business and financial goals, evaluate new business opportunities and drive business initiatives. In addition, he/she will support Service-Line P&Ls, Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, identify and quantify financial/operational Risks and Opportunities (R&O) to the business, and support ad-hoc business projects. This role requires a self-starter and independent individual with strong financial modeling abilities, problem solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations. Key responsibilities:
- Taking the lead in financial planning and analysis; building complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance including utilization and retirements
- Understand hardware generational changes and developing financial models to optimize capital expenditures.
- Assist with pricing analyses and pricing models in support of new region and sku launches
- Develop and standardize financial reports
- Drive ad-hoc business support projects
