Job Description

Are you interesting in building tools and services to change the way customers create, deploy and manage their applications using Amazon Web Services? AWS CloudFormation and AWS Config together provide the ability to describe, provision and manage resources in AWS. These two services provide cloud developers and IT Administrators better visibility and control over their AWS resources.

We are recruiting for a Systems Engineering Manager with operations responsibilities spanning both these teams. In this role, you will work on mission-critical infrastructures, tools and processes to enable our systems to scale at rapid pace. You will be leading a team of system engineers focused on managing, scaling and updating large infrastructure fleets. The perfect candidate will be comfortable with Development Operations, Systems Engineering, Linux and Distributed Architecture topics. They will have enthusiasm for digging deep and a flair for sharp technical communication, prioritization and organization. They will have experience dealing with ambiguity, be able to hire talent and develop that talent and be able to trade off strategic thinking with a bias to deliver value to customers quickly. They will be able to collaborate closely with a large number of AWS teams as well as external partners.

Come be part of an exciting journey with us!
