Job Description

We are looking for a detail oriented Technical Media Manager to join our creative platforms team in Seattle, focused on design and brand direction. This position is responsible for technical workflows and systems across design production and motion animation. In the role, you will focus on administration of assets repositories and processing hardware for creative projects, and develop process and best practices for clean production workflows.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge of motion and graphic design production, with an expertise in 3D and vector file management. The candidate will work with producers, artists and digital librarians to build efficient workflows, and strategize with technical resources to implement and improve digital asset management software. This role requires excellent project management skills, strategic thinking and problem solving, and strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter, with the ability to work across several teams to continually train users, document process, and represent team feedback for software improvements. Additionally, this candidate will have demonstrated success in developing asset rendering processes or systems, file conventions, and metadata structures.

Basic Qualifications

· Self-starter that can operate with autonomy and discretion
· 4+ years of enterprise-level video asset management, asset rendering or digital content management, or similar role at creative agencies, design studios, or production companies
· Strong knowledge of asset management practices within networked storage and on-premise or cloud-based asset rendering systems
· Strong knowledge of design vector file formats, rendering hardware and administration, and processes
· Experience with file automation techniques, such as syncing, scripting, bulk processing functions
· Project management skills including organizing development timelines, data migration schedules, team communication, and technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

· BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
· Artist or technician level experience in Adobe Creative Cloud applications and Cinema 4D
· Experience implementing or maintaining network, switch and cabling infrastructure
