Job Description

We are looking for a Managing Product Manager to join our creative platforms team in Seattle, focused on design and brand direction. This position is responsible leading a team and strategizing end-to-end system and technology implementation for the internal creative, marketing, and production group. In this role, you will develop a team and identify priorities and road-map to define, execute, and deliver products that enable the scale of creative platforms to support our internal creative teams around the world.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a start-up like environment, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into innovative solutions. This role will drive the development of successful early stage creative studio products, while helping to define the future of how Amazon leverages technology to create compelling content, and help ensure that policies, procedures and programs are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives and vision. To succeed, this leader needs to have technical acumen and a passion for technology. A technical degree is not a requirement. Technology planning and administration expertise is essential for guiding improvements into developing platforms.

Basic Qualifications

· 5+ years of product management experience
· Experience managing technical products or workflow system services within an agency related to video/media production or in a creative field
· Ability to work cross-functionally with global and regional teams on complex integrations
· Strong business and technical acumen

Preferred Qualifications

· Self-starter that can operate with autonomy and discretion
· Experience in production companies or creative agencies utilizing PM, CMS, or DAM systems
· Experience researching and procuring unfamiliar technology
· Experience managing relationships with hardware/software manufacturers or vendors
· Knowledge of video network and file server technology and infrastructure
· Familiarity with video, photo, and/or print production processes, and associated software, such as Adobe Creative Suite software
· Advanced degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Strong business and technical acumen
