CETech is the high-powered technical team responsible for the platform and end-to-end experience for customers to shop for consumer electronics on Amazon. We provide the best customer experience through streamlined shopping and purchase flows that often include integration with carrier systems across the world.

We have an opening for a Sr. Machine Learning Manger to help us innovate and make our mark in this space! Are you up for the challenge? Basic Qualifications

  • MSc in Computer Science (Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, Operational Research)
  • Able to formulate complex SQL queries and experience working with Business Intelligence tools
  • Good knowledge of scientific programming in scripting languages like R/Python/Matlab

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHD in Computer Science (Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, Operational Research)
  • Ability to distill informal business requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in machine learning, data mining, artificial intelligence, statistics with track record of publications.
  • Experience in building automated analytical systems utilizing large data sets
  • Experience with distributed algorithms (Map-Reduce, MPI)
  • Professional experience in software development (software design and development life cycle)
  • Comfortable using Java or C++/C. Experience in using Perl or Python (or similar scripting language) for data processing and analytics
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey rigorous mathematical concepts and considerations to non-experts
