Job Description

Training and Certification is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Program Manager to develop and manage marketing programs to drive awareness and adoption of training and certification for China. In this role, you will build, manage, and execute the marketing strategy for the China training business. You will understand China’s training delivery business priorities and develop and execute the marketing plan with precision. You will work with global Training and Certification Marketing and Field Marketing teams to deliver marketing programs and campaigns that drive awareness and generate leads for Training and Certification in your market. The ideal candidate has track record of success in marketing strategy, campaign management, lead generation, partner marketing, and events. The right candidate is extremely data-driven and comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of marketing campaigns; demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
· Develop a deep understanding of China’s training business and act as primarily marketing contact, including regular participation in team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions
· Create and drive innovative and effective marketing programs, including online marketing campaigns, webinars, events, lead generation programs, promotions, etc.
· Own the strategy, development, and execution of marketing programs that help acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers, and deliver growth across key customer segments
· Create strategic and measureable campaign plans by working with global Training and Certification Marketing and Field Marketing teams
· Develop campaign project plans, including goals, messaging, call to action, and distribution channels
· Forecast, track, and report marketing program and campaign effectiveness metrics as well as overall ROI to internal stakeholders. Plus, continually monitor, analyze and tune marketing activities to maximize conversion
· Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for training and certification campaigns
· Work with the central AWS media, email marketing, marketing automation, global campaigns teams to stay up-to-day on all new tools, understand best practices, leverage the learnings and economies of scale
· Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with global Training and Certification Marketing, Curriculum, Certification, Partner, and Regional teams to support their goals, increase engagement with marketing, and drive program support

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ professional experience in marketing programs, events, marketing communications, field/partner marketing, preferably in high-technology
· Ability to create innovative and targeted marketing programs that generate results in this highly specialized business
· Accomplished range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
· Proven success in managing complex and multi-faceted marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through completion
  • Proven experience working with industry tools including Salesforce, Marketo, and online analytics packages
· The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization and gain support for initiatives
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent team player

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study

Preferred Qualifications


· A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results.
· Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment; IT/technology marketing experience preferred
· Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables.
· Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget.
· Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
