Job Description

Come help Amazon manage their global bank structure. Drive cash and investment decisions, manage bank relationships, ensure liquidity for global businesses, gain operational experience in 40+ different geographies all while working hard, having fun, and making history. A great opportunity to be a leader with a MNC and get first-hand experience supporting its new business launches, cash management, and intercompany operations.

Primary Functions:
• Assist in managing global cash positioning and creating efficiency in global bank account structure
• Contribute to driving liquidity solutions which provide scalable funding mechanisms
• Bank relationship management
• Responsible for providing financial and analytical support including: daily, weekly, monthly reporting on financial and non-financial metrics along with cash forecasting
• Responsible for supporting Shared Services, Accounting, Tax, and Global Payments initiatives
• Responsible for supporting new business expansion and new country expansion
• Generate reporting packages related to cash and investment performance attributes and returns
• Assist in Treasury control procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a strong control environment
• Dive deep, take the lead, and support driving process improvement in daily tasks.
• Ensure full utilization of the Treasury workstation including reporting processes
• Assist in mitigating banking fees and transaction costs of Treasury activities through the periodic review of global bank account analysis statements
• Assist in the issuance and administration of letters of credit
• Ad hoc Treasury projects/analysis

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or banking industry.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to analyze data and make decisions quickly. Candidate should be able to work well with cross-functional teams and external partners. The candidate must be able to communicate, written and verbal, complex Treasury concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-Treasury professionals.

• Experience with Treasury tools such as banking portals and TMS
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Fluency in standard software - primarily Excel
• Self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners as needed
• Aptitude to roll up your sleeves and get things done, while educating others
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment and proactively initiate and champion change
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements
• Treasury experience with multi-national corporation
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Comfort working in a fluid and oftentimes ambiguous environment; capable of making adjustments in both day-to-day and large-scale activities based on new information and developments
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Aptitude for leading teams; ability to influence and galvanize others to follow you toward a solution
• Must possess strong process development and documentation skills
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Fluency in standard software - primarily Excel
