To help our customers take advantage of container-based deployment models, we are looking to form a dynamic team of Technical Business Development Managers who can collaborate with our customers and partners on migrating their applications to containers on the cloud. We are looking for individuals with background in cloud computing, knowledge of microservices framework and the Docker ecosystem that can help identify use cases and trends in the ecosystem, create artefacts to help a broad set of users, lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs) with customers and evangelize best practices to our customers and partners around the globe. You will be partnered with the Business Development Manager for Container Services and together you will ensure customer success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
The candidate will have the opportunity work the services from AWS that customers will leverage to run containerized applications including EC2 Container Registry (ECR), EC2 Container Service (ECS) that was introduced to help users that are choosing to deploy their applications in containers on EC2, Application Load Balancing, et al.

Roles & Responsibilities:
? Serve as a key member of the Container Services Business Development team focused on helping to driving overall adoption of containers on EC2
Contribute to the definition and execution of the strategic business development plan while collaborating with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, product service teams, support, etc.).
. Identify customer segments and key use cases and a strategic approach towards driving adoption
· Identify patterns and design customer reference architectures by working backwards from customers and understanding use cases to develop these reference architectures (business and technical) that can be used by our partners and customers to learn about using ECS, ECR and other related services in the context of those use cases.
· Evangelize these best practices by speaking at external conferences/events/meetups as well as help enable and train the AWS field and our partner ecosystems.
· Be a thought leader – Capture best practices through the work done personally as well as by the broader community inside and outside of AWS and share it. Publish blogs and whitepapers, drive development of reference implementations to guide customers and partners through common scenarios and patterns.
· Lead strategic Proofs of Concept (PoC) to help customers adopt the service and broad platform that can lead to the definition and development of programmatic mechanisms to scale PoCs.
