Job Description

Amazon Global HR Solutions is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer build and customize (SFDC) solutions and manage integrations with other systems. This includes designing, developing, testing and deploying custom Apex and object-oriented solutions.

  • Performs technical analysis, design, development and implementation support for system integrations and Salesforce customizations following Apex design patterns and object-oriented programming best practices.
  • Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce Service Cloud applications in iterative release cycles
  • Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement
  • Seek out opportunities to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Provide support for the deployment tasks and after hour on-call support
  • Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year University
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Developer experience
  • VisualForce, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers development experience
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse IDE)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Strong Expertise with Service Cloud and Knowledge Products
  • Certified Platform Developer or equivalent experience
  • Good understanding of data structures, data modeling and database schema is required
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with good understanding of HR business processes
  • Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Demonstrative success with implementing at least one large project
  • Has good communication skills. Conversant with both technical and business audience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
