We’re looking for a bright, motivated, friendly, composed, customer-obsessed Administrative Assistant to join our team. You’re the ideal candidate if you can work with grace and a sense of humor, while handling a high volume of work, in a sometimes ambiguous and demanding environment. You must possess the desire and ability to thrive in a team-based environment and flourish ‘behind-the-scenes’. In addition to the core administrative duties, this position has high visibility in the company and has significant opportunity for growth and development.

The core responsibilities for this position are executive email management, so excellent writing and oral skills are a must as well as the desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly on the fly. Understanding the company organization structure, working relationships, and business partner roles are important as this position will work closely with other teams across Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in administrative support including interaction with senior level leaders.
  • Able to consistently work a flexible schedule (Sunday – Wednesday or Thursday – Saturday) and holiday coverage

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or AA/AS Degree
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ownership, communication, and partnering skills
  • Previous project management and event planning experience preferred
  • High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information
  • Strong enthusiasm to provide superb customer service
  • The ability to engage team members (teamwork), and drive deliverables to ensure the success of the team
  • Ability to remain calm under tight deadlines, changing requests, and schedules
  • Skilled at editing, formatting, and proofing documentation
