The Amazon Media Group engineering team has an opportunity to be part of something big! Working on advertising for Amazon.com, Kindle Special Offers, and Amazon Mobile Ads, the Ad Product Tools team provides critical tools that streamline ad delivery to millions of Amazon customers. You will work closely with the CST Display Ads engineering team and Product Management team in delivering on our product investments, plus other engineering teams in coordinating key deliverables. The ideal candidate is agile enough to thrive in an environment that blends a responsibility for not only envisioning creative solutions, but leverages a data-driven approach to validate these ideas
We are looking for you to be fully focused on the customer, understanding their needs and requirements, plus anticipating future trends that will serve their needs. You will also be excellent at getting results, being able to coordinate large, multi-functional projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. You define or review the systems-level technical design of your projects and balance near term business need with long term implications for the CST and Display Ads. You manage cross-functional communication to ensure all business and technical stakeholder’s needs are aligned.
You will possess a strong program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects. You will be data-driven and analytical. You constantly strive to expand our understanding of the metrics that drive the platform growth. Your communication skills - both verbal and written – will need to be excellent, and you will be able to clearly communicate at all levels in the organization, including senior management.
